Chris Wheat, chief sustainability officer for the City of Chicago, has released a letter expressing support for One Earth Film Festival as it ramps up for its seventh year of bringing Chicago-area audiences the best in environmental cinema.
This is the second year that Wheat has endorsed One Earth for its screenings and programs that raise awareness about sustainability challenges and solutions. He noted that the Festival demonstrates a strong commitment to all seven topics in the Sustainable Chicago Plan, released in 2015.
